LINKS TO CHINESE TV CHANNELS

China Central Television or Chinese Central Television, commonly abbreviated as CCTV is the major television broadcaster in Mainland China. In searching for viewers, CCTV has found itself in competition with local television stations (which are also state run) which have been creating increasingly large media groups in order to compete with CCTV. 

CCTV-1 is the primary channel of the CCTV (China Central Television) Network in the People's Republic of China. It has a mixture of all kinds of TV programs, and is available to both cable and non-cable television viewers.  
CCTV 2 - China TV Channel  
CCTV-2 is the economy focused channel of the CCTV (China Central Television) Network in the People's Republic of China. The primary concerns of this channel include: Energy conservation, Stock exchange, Scams (Buyer Beware), and Game shows. 

CCTV 10 - China TV Channel  
CCTV-10 is the science and education focused channel of the CCTV (China Central Television) Network in the People's Republic of China. Its schedule includes mostly local and imported documentaries, as well as educational studio productions. 

CCTV11 - China TV Channel  
CCTV-11 is the opera channel of the CCTV (China Central Television) Network in the People's Republic of China.  

CCTV12 - China TV Channel  
CCTV-12 is the law and society focused channel of the CCTV (China Central Television) Network in the People's Republic of China.  

CTV - China TV Channel  
It was the first television channel to broadcast full colour television service to the whole island. On August 9, 1999, the channel was publicly listed on Taiwan Stock Exchange, becoming the first publicly listed broadcasting company on the island.

Chung T'ien Television is a nationwide cable TV network based in Taiwan. It belongs to the China Times group, which also owns China Television (CTV).

China Beijing TV Station is a government-owned television network in the People's Republic of China and is chiefly broadcast in the Chinese language. It broadcasts from Beijing.  

CCTV-9 - China TV Channel  
CCTV International or CCTV-9 is a news, entertainment, and educational television channel originating in the People's Republic of China that plays a major role in the external publicity (soft power) of the PRC government.

Hebei Television - China TV Channel  
Hebei Television (HEBTV) is a television network in Hebei province and all parts of the Beijing and Tianjin television viewing areas. Hebei Television also covers parts of Shandong, Henan and Shaanxi provinces and the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.


Chongqing TV - China TV Channel  
Chongqing Broadcasting Group (Station) (CQBS), is a television broadcaster based in Chongqing, China. Its main channel, CQTV is carried on cable systems in urban areas throughout mainland China and is available nationwide on both analogue and digital satellites.


QTV-1 - China TV Channel

CCTV 4 - China TV Channel  
CCTV-4 , is the international broadcast for CCTV International in the Mandarin language. It is one of three CCTV channels that broadcasts outside of China, the other two being CCTV-9 and CCTV-E&F.


CCTV 7 - China TV Channel  
CCTV-7 is the military/agricultural focused channel of the CCTV (China Central Television) Network in the People's Republic of China.


CCTV-F - China TV Channel  
CCTV-F is a French language news channels of China Central Television (CCTV) originating in the People's Republic of China, and are part of the Chinese Government's information ministry. The Dish Network and DirecTV satellite services do not carry CCTV-F.


Win TV - China TV Channel  
In October 1994, ENT Ltd. sold Vic Television to WIN Corporation which already operated WIN Television stations in New South Wales, Canberra and Queensland. Vic Television's television stations are now part of the WIN Television network. 

GDTV - China TV Channel  
Guangdong Television (GDTV) is a television network in Guangzhou, China and Guangdong province area. 


Chongqing Television - China TV Channel

Heilongjiang Television - China TV Channel  
The Heilongjiang Television and Radio Broadcast Center is located in the Long Ta (Dragon Tower). It is associated with Long Guang through the Heilongjiang Radio and TV Group. 

Hunan Satellite Television - China TV Channel  
Hunan Satellite Television is the satellite television network of its parent Chinese language broadcasting company Hunan Television. Unlike its parent company, Hunan Satellite Television broadcasts to audience abroad.


Tian Shi Wang - China TV Channel  
Tian Shi Wang is a television network in the Tianjin, China area. The website goes by the acronym "TJTV", meaning Tianjin Television. The local people in Tianjin refer to the station as TJTV when chatting in English, but in Chinese, they say it by calling it Tianjin Dianshi.


Xinjiang TV - China TV Channel
Xinjiang Television Station is a television network broadcasting to the Ürümqi, in the Xinjiang Province area. It broadcasts in Mandarin, Uyghur, Kazakh, Mongolian, and Kyrgyz languages.
