NHK or Japan Broadcasting Corporation, is Japan's public broadcaster. Today it operates two terrestrial television services (NHK General TV and NHK Educational TV), three satellite services (NHK BS-1, NHK BS-2, and NHK Hi-Vision – High-definition TV), and three radio networks (NHK Radio 1, NHK Radio 2, and NHK FM). 

Nippon Television Network Corporation is a television network in Shiodome area of Minato-ku, Tokyo, Japan owned by the Yomiuri Shimbun. It is known as Nihon TV, contracted to Nittele , as well as "NTV". 

Yomiuri Telecasting Corporation is a TV station joining Nippon News Network (NNN) and Nippon Television Network System (NNS) in Osaka Business Park, Osaka, Japan founded as "New Osaka Television Co." on February 13, 1958. On August 1, New Osaka TV was renamed "Yomiuri Telecasting Corporation" and started TV broadcasting on August 28 as the first TV station which is affiliated with Nippon Television Network Corp. 

Chukyo Television Broadcasting Co., Ltd. is a network TV station of Nippon News Network (NNN) and Nippon Television Network System (NNS) in Nagoya, Japan. It is known as "Chukyo TV". 

Akita Broadcasting System, Inc. (ABS)is a Japanese broadcaster in Akita Prefecture. Its radio station is affiliated with Japan Radio Network (JRN) and National Radio Network (NRN), and its TV station is affiliated with Nippon News Network (NNN) and Nippon TV Network System (NNS).

TV Tokyo Corporation (or TX) TYO: 9411 is a TV station based in Tokyo, Japan. It is also known as "Teleto", a portmanteau of "terebi" and "Tokyo." It is the key station of TXN (TX Network). Its main owner is Nihon Keizai Shimbun. TV Tokyo is currently the smallest of the major Tokyo TV networks, and is known for its specialization in anime. 

Tokyo Broadcasting System, Inc. or TBS, is a television network in Tokyo, Japan. TBS has a 28-affiliate news network called JNN (Japan News Network), as well as a 34-affiliate radio network called JRN (Japan Radio Network) which TBS Radio has. 

Tokai Television Broadcasting Co., Ltd. is a TV station of Fuji News Network (FNN) and Fuji Network System (FNS) in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, Japan. It is broadcast in Aichi Prefecture, Gifu Prefecture, and Mie Prefecture.
